Abstract

Purpose : The aim of this study is to provide data base needed for improving quality of nursing service by means of analyzing the influence of ego resiliency, job stress on it.

Method : It was for 300 nurses who work at the general hospital which has over 400 beds in Gyeongju, Pohang area. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics SPSS 20.0 program used to analyze data. Frequency, ercentage, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe¡¯s test, Pearson correlation coefficient, Multiple Regression Analysis were calculated.

Result : There was positive correlation between Anger management, a kind of the ego resiliency, and quality of nursing service. But negative correlation between Stress and it. And also Ages, Position, Self-Confidence have influence on it.

Conclusion : There is need of introducing some programs, which help nurse to manage stress they feel and encourage them to have self-confidence, ultimately improving quality of service.
